chronicle fights back
special edition this trade
Dear readers, please let us apologize for the confusion caused at the hands of our rogue ex-employees, who have taken it upon themselves to destroy the integrity of this fine paper. We at the Chronicle report with the truth in mind, not spreading false accusations with little proof. We take these accusations very seriously, but have so far found no sustenance to back them up. To rebuild trust with our readers, and expose bad actors, we will be providing a FREE special edition that is sure to shed some light on the going-ons of Mercy Pointe and our accusers.
Ex-employee Magaret Sawyer (seen in a rage)
Ex-employee Zebidiah Honesty (looting a dead hospital worker)
Orchard Conquers Battlement day
It is with heavy hearts that we report the destruction of Fort Mayfield, home of Hope’s Hand and the Fort Mayfield prison. Our investigators have found no sight of Marigold Flowers, leader of Hope’s Hand, but the search for her is ongoing. How could this have happened, you ask?
Mercy Pointe “citizens” discussing the horde
Investigations lead to scoundrels in Mercy Pointe pulling strings to ensure the destruction of our local protectors. It is said the choice between King’s Crown and Fort Mayfield was left to chance-- but we ask, who flipped the hypothetical coin? How do we know it wasn’t weighted towards one side? We just don’t think this was truly an act of fate...
rewritten Revealed?
It is to our great distress that our Lead Reporter Thomas Fletch has been accused of being Mr. Fitzgerald, with little proof to show! Interpreted messages and shocking secrets were mentioned in the bootleg copy of The Chronicle, yet we see no physical proof printed on the page. We ask you dear readers, who would seek to benefit off of sowing such chaos and taking over the one trustworthy source of information in Mercy Pointe? The Rewritten themselves!
Yes, that’s right dear readers. We believe these false reporters are no other than the dastardly villains that have left a wake of destruction throughout the Grand Tides region. But what proof do we have? Just look at the last town Ms. Sawyer and Mr. Honesty were from. It is now a pit of ruin that no one returns to. Just like every other town the Rewritten has touched.
While we’ve already collected damning information-- see our upcoming Special Edition-- we will be launching deep investigations into these individuals as well to uncover their craven plots before it’s too late. Please report anything suspicious to members of The Chronicle with a press badge.
Notices
The Chronicle Institutes “No Retractions” Policy
We once again apologize for the confusion, but The Chronicle is still issuing it’s No Retractions policy while interviewing those in town. We would encourage interviewees to think before they speak-- though we do still want to hear you speak!
Chronicle Reporters will be representing themselves with Press Badges, which we urge interviewees to ask for when being interviewed. If any “reporter” does not have an official Chronicle badge, they are not affiliated with the Chronicle!
